KeyPoint Partners Announces Two Apple Cinemas Hartford Openings
BURLINGTON, MA (today) — KeyPoint Partners (KPP) announces that its expanding cinema client Apple Cinemas has opened two new locations in Hartford, Connecticut, according to Vice President of Leasing/Tenant Rep Don Mace.
The new locations include Apple Cinemas Xtreme on New Park Avenue and the Apple Cinemas Luxury Dine-In on Front Street. Several of the theaters at the New Park Avenue location have been completely renovated, and feature large, comfortable reclining seats with serving trays and beverage holders. The Front Street theater features a sports bar dine-in component, and will also offer outdoor seating.
“Apple Cinemas currently operates high quality family entertainment throughout the Connecticut market,” Mace says. “Apple Cinemas is on a path to becoming a well-branded, competitive cinema throughout the U.S. and is very capable of upgrading the movie-going experience in any market. We’re looking at every opportunity to grow the brand,” Mace says. “We’re seeking sites in the 30,000 - 65,000 square-foot range with suitable ceiling heights. We’re focused on converting existing cinemas but all sites will be considered.”
Apple Cinemas is very bullish on the future of the cinema industry. KPP is seeking sites throughout the U.S. to develop new cinemas or rebrand existing ones, with a goal of opening 100 cinemas over the next decade, if not sooner, and is actively seeking sites across the country.
Apple Cinemas currently operates multi-screen family film and entertainment venues throughout New England. Since 2010, Apple Cinemas has provided premium entertainment experiences at exceptional value, with luxury stadium recliner seats, digital projection and sound, and self-serve snack bars in a family-friendly environment, with upscale bar and dining options at selected locations. Apple Cinemas presents varied and dynamic programming featuring popular blockbusters, art films, and foreign films in several languages.
