Construction Project Manager - Part Time

Burlington, MA

Due to recent growth in our construction division, KeyPoint Partners, LLC, one of the region’s leading commercial real estate firms, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Project Manager in our Burlington, MA office. The Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of designated construction projects for commercial and retail real estate.

 

Primary responsibilities include but not limited to:

 

  • Review proposals/plans to determine time frame, funding, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and resources needed.

  • Estimate costs of materials, labor and use of equipment required to fulfill provisions of contract and prepares bids.

  • Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.

  • Confers with property manager to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

  • Attend on-site construction meetings.

  • Directs and coordinates activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within prescribed budget.

  • Reviews status reports prepared by project personnel and modifies schedules or plans as required.

  • Prepares project reports for management, client, or others.

  • Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.

  • Ensures that project is in compliance with government regulatory or other governmental agencies.

 

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have the ability to communicate complex issues in laymen’s terms. Should have excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient in CAD, Microsoft Office, Excel, Timberline and construction software. Must have at least 5 years of construction experience within commercial and/or retail real estate. Some travel required.

 

BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field desired. Position is part-time, 20 to 25 hours a week. Salary depends on experience.
